My mom have tried tons of those creams sold online claiming to be top choice and always ends up to be a SCAM! I would like to ask some woman out there what skin care line or product you use that actually produce visual results!
Thanks !
When it comes to anti-wrinkle creams/serums, your best bet is to stay away from grocery store or pharmacy brands. For the most part, these brands that are sold over the counter do not contain a high enough percentage of active ingredients to actually benefit your skin. They only have to include small amounts of an active ingredient in order to be able to label these products as containing Retinol, Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Glycolics and other actives. The only way to know you are getting a quality product is to read the ingredient label which shows the percentage of active ingredients. If it just lists the ingredents with no percentages, stay away from it. I order my skin care products from dermatologist-made companies, that on the label will state that they contain 1.0 Retinol or 15% Vit. C. or 20% Glycolic. These are the prodcuts that truly make a difference. If you see products stating "contains micro-patented enhancement complex", it isn’t telling you what that is. It is just a trade name they are using for their ingredenits. You need to know what those ingredients are. Hope this helps!
When I put any type of moisturizer on my face, my flaws stand out more. Idk why.
When I don’t use Moisturizer, my skin looks great-I don’t even need the foundation I wear.
So can I go without moisturizing my face?
Moisturizer is EXTREMELY important. Everyone technically should be using a daytime moisturizer and a night cream. Daytime moisturizer acts as a barrier to help hold in your skin’s moisture (water) as there are so many dehydrating elements we face everyday. A night cream penetrates the skin and replenishes the moisture that was lost throughout the day. It’s important to wear it at night as that is when our body is at rest and your skin isn’t being subjected to as many dehydrating factors. Without using both of these items, your skin will break down much faster and will lose elasticity, making it wrinkle far quicker than it regularly would.
Face wash, face wipes, eye makeup remover, toner,eye/undereye creams, face/day/night creams, blemish/acne treatment,….and anything else you use.
I mostly use the Nivea Visage Line, but there are some others.
Face Wipes-Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing towelettes(these take everything off!) and I use Olay daily facials express wet(I love the texture!)
Eye Makeup remover-Oil free eye makeup remover by Neutrogena(gets Everything off!)
Toner-Nivea Visage Moisturizing toner(it smells great, skin feels refreshed)
Eye Creme-Nivea Visage Q10 Advanced Wrinkle reducer(love the smell/texture, not too greasy)
Day Creme-Nivea Visage Q10 Advanced Wrinkle reducer(love for the same reasons as above)
Night Creme-Nivea Visage Q10 Advanced Wrinkle reducer(same as above)
Blemish/acne treatment-Clean & Clear maximum strength Invisible Blemish treatment(really reduces size/redness. usually after the 1st use)
Face Wash-I want to try the Nivea Visage gentle cleansing and eye makeup remover
i use neutrogena to remove makeup bc it is slick and justs wipes it right off, clean and clear for face wash as well as st.ives apricot scrub to exfoliate skin, and attitude product from the dead sea as a face cleanser (can be bought at the mall from those people from isreal!) and i use clinique products for moistirizers and preventon of wrinkles but i hear este lauder is great for the face in terms of preventing it from aging and dark spots, it is just expensive.
